INTRO TO POLE

**A REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITE TO JOINING OUR 6 WEEK SESSION**

This is a 1 hour, one time class, in which you will be introduced to the beautiful (and addictive) world of pole!
Here you will learn the fundamentals of Tiger Lily philosophy as well as important safety tips, basic proper pole technique, and the “root” movements to prepare you to join our multi-level pole classes all the while laughing and getting to know your fellow polers.

What to wear: Something you feel good in and is comfortable. Yoga capris, pants, or shorts and tshirt or tank top are great! No jewelry please.

INTRO TO AERIAL ARTS

*NOT A REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITE

We offer several types of aerial classes and our Intro to Aerial Arts is a great way to try out several aerial apparatuses in one Intro class! Explore the Lyra, Sling, and Silks and learn the basics of aerial safety, technique, and strength conditioning. While an Aerial Intro is NOT required to join our 6 Week Aerial classes, it's a great way to try out this low impact, graceful, beautiful, and fun fitness and art form! 

What to wear: Long leggings and form fitting tops that cover the under arms. Loose/baggy clothing can get tangled in apparatus. No jewelry please.

INTRO TO AERIAL SCULPT

*NOT A REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITE

If TRX, aerial yoga, and acrobatics had a baby, it would be Aerial Sculpt!

 

In this 1 hour Intro class, learn to use the uniquely fun, comfortable, and supportive Fly Gym apparatus that allows for 360° motion while relieving joint pressure which allows for greater range of movement and a more enjoyable fitness experience. You will gain strength, agility, flexibility, balance, and an improved state of mind so get ready to fly and most importantly, have FUN!!

What to wear: Long leggings and form fitting tops that cover the under arms. Loose/baggy clothing can get tangled in the apparatus. No jewelry please.

INTRO TO HOOP DANCE

*NOT A REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITE

This 1 hour class is great for all fitness levels and will introduce you to the mesmerizing world of Hoop Dance!..YES! as in HULA hoop! You will learn basic technique, basic on/off body hoop tricks and transition pieces. Learn tips and tricks to help keep your hoop spinning around your legs, chest, and waist as well as off body, like isolations, weaves, and develop your hoop dance flow. You will get sweaty and have a ton of fun! Let’s learn how to connect your mind, body and soul through this epic form of dance! 

 

Hoops will be provided or you may bring your own hoop if you have one. 

What to wear: Comfortable, easy to move in clothing: shorts, leggings, tank or t-shirt. Bare arms/legs helps with hoop control. No jewelry please.
