ETIQUETTE & POLICIES

GENERAL STUDIO ETIQUETTE

  • Tiger Lily is a welcoming, supportive, motivating, positive energy space for students of all backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels. Any behavior or talk by or among students that goes against the cultivation of this positive environment will not be tolerated and will be handled accordingly. 

  • All students and guests must be at least 18 unless participating in a Kid/Teen class, a parent/legal guardian will need to be present to sign for the student. 

  • All new students and guests must sign a waiver prior to participation in classes, parties, workshops, etc. 

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class. If this is your first time attending, you will need time to fill out necessary paperwork. 

  • Please leave all jewelry (rings, watches, bracelets, etc) at home or be prepared to remove them before class. These items damage our equipment and can also hurt the student wearing them. 

  • Avoid hand and body oils/lotions the day of class as they can affect your grip and may cause a dangerous slippery situation. 

  • Please keep your belongings (bags, shoes, clothes, etc) in the provided storage area to reduce clutter and prevent tripping. 

  • Please do not attempt to instruct your fellow students. Our instructors are trained and certified professionals in their form of dance/fitness and it is important for everyone's safety that this rule is respected. If you are found to be instructing, you will be asked to stop and if it continues you will be asked to leave the class. 

  • Pictures/videos are NOT permitted during regular classes/workshops. This is to respect everyone's privacy. Pictures/videos ARE permitted during private parties/private lessons, events, etc. Remember to share with us on Social Media! 

CLASS DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICIES

Deposits/Payments

  • ALL deposits are non-refundable

  • If you have not paid a deposit, your spot is not guaranteed as it is first paid, first served. Please register early and make sure you pay at least your deposit to avoid disappointment. 

Cancellations

  • We require at least a 24 hour notice prior to the start of the classes/workshops for cancellations. An account credit/refund (minus deposit) will be given. 

  • If less than 24 hour notice is given or the student no-shows, all money paid is forfeited, no refunds will be given. 

Late Arrivals & Missed Classes

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class start time. 

  • If arriving more than 15 minutes late, you may not be allowed to participate due to not being able to warm up properly. The warm up is extremely important to avoid possible injury. 

  • Students are allowed 1 make up class per 6 Week Semester enrollment. It is the STUDENTS's responsibility to contact the studio or their instructor to schedule their makeup class before the end of the 6 Week Semester. You may make up a missed class in the same type of class that has space and is your skill level or lower, if that applies. 

  • If you do not schedule your makeup class before the end of the 6 Week Semester, it does NOT carry over and you will lose that class credit.

PRIVATE PARTY POLICIES

Pricing

  • All party pricing is for a minimum guest count of up to 8. Each additional guest is $35, up to a maximum of 16. Groups with less than 8 in attendance are responsible for covering the minimum party cost. Contact us for information regarding larger parties than 16. 

  • Price is based on guests in attendance, whether they participate or not. We find they can't help but join in on the fun! 

  • A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your chosen day/time. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival. The deposit will be applied toward the cost of the party. 

  • Please plan for the group to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, payment, change of clothes, etc. 

 

Late Arrivals/Cancellations & Refunds

  • Due to other events being booked on the same day, if your group arrives late, we cannot guarantee your full time slot. If scheduling allows, your instructor may teach up to a maximum of 15 minutes past the scheduled end time if they are able. There are no refunds or pro-rated pricing for late arrivals. Please plan your schedule accordingly. 

  • We require a 24hr notice if the party must be cancelled. The deposit will not be refunded but can be applied to a future party, class, workshop, etc. 

  • Parties cancelled with less than 24hr notice, same day cancellations, and no-shows forfeits their deposit. 

 

Safety/What to Wear

  • We are an alcohol free studio. Only pre-approved food/drinks may be brought in for parties. ​

  • For the safety of all guests and our instructors, anyone determined to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs will NOT be allowed to participate, no refund will be given. 

  • We encourage all guests to honor their comfort level by dressing in what they feel good in. A typical outfit is tank, t-shirt, sports bra, yoga leggings, capris, shorts, or booty shorts.
